Azul Imperiale is a blue-gray quartzite with long diagonal bands of slate blue, silver and soft teal.
Quartzite is a natural stone that is harder than granite and much harder than marble. It handles heat well and resists scratches, so it works in busy kitchens. Most quartzites need sealing to protect against stains, and we seal them at installation.
The long diagonal bands look best when the slab layout keeps them running in one direction, which we plan with you before cutting.
It works as a statement island with white perimeter counters, and pairs well with white, gray or navy cabinets.

Natural stone slabs change often, so contact us to see which Azul Imperiale Quartzite slabs are available right now. You can pick your exact slab before we cut it. See samples at our showrooms in Woodbridge, Stafford, Fredericksburg and Charlottesville. We measure with digital laser templating, cut every piece on our water jet CNC in our own shop, and install 5–7 days after templating with a 1-year workmanship warranty. We also remove your old countertops and reconnect the plumbing.
