White Macaubas has a bright white to soft cream background with long, straight gray and taupe lines. The linear pattern gives it a calm, modern look.
Quartzite is a natural stone that is harder than granite and much harder than marble. It handles heat well and resists scratches, so it works in busy kitchens. Most quartzites need sealing to protect against stains, and we seal them at installation.
The straight lines make seam placement important. We match the lines at each seam during layout so the pattern looks continuous.
It suits white or light gray shaker cabinets, flat-panel modern kitchens and black or matte nickel fixtures. A mitered edge makes the straight lines wrap the edge cleanly.
