Custom Soapstone Metropolis Quartz Basement Bar Countertop in Woodbridge, VA

This custom entertainment and basement wet bar countertop was fabricated and installed by Granite Vision in Woodbridge, Virginia, featuring Soapstone Metropolis Quartz. The homeowner desired the moody, sophisticated aesthetic of traditional soapstone without the ongoing oiling and maintenance requirements of natural soapstone.

Fabricated directly out of our nearby Woodbridge Showroom & Slab Yard facility, the countertop features an extended bar overhang to accommodate comfortable under-counter barstool seating, an undermount prep bar sink cutout, and seamless transitions against an exposed brick feature wall. The non-porous engineered quartz surface provides complete stain and liquid resistance against wine, spirits, and acidic cocktail mixers, making it the ultimate entertaining centerpiece.
